Seminar: alternate Mondays, 5:00-7:00 pm.
Room SG1 (ground floor) Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road, CB3 9DT.
The group aims to encourage interdisciplinary discussion about the histories of archaeology and anthropology. Specifically, it seeks to harness the increasing internal discussion about the past of these two related disciplines and couple it with enquiries conducted within the history of science. Combining the growing interest of the history of science in these disciplines with the historical discussions taking place within them, the group aims both to consolidate previous historical work and also to point to new directions in which to take it.
